I don’t normally leave feedback for any of my doctors except for Dr. Henderson – because he is my go to person for breast surgery in NYC. Not only because he is a super friendly and patient doctor. He also did a fantastic job! In 2018, he did my mastectomy on my left breast (I had the right one done in California many years ago). After 5 years, he did both of my implants’ replacement. It is not easy to make the mastectomy breast look natural, but he did! Because my breasts look so natural, my other doctors told me the same! I also went to him to have a minor procedure (liposuction from the belly to the breast) done to make it look natural (because he recommended it)! I had a double mastectomy on June 30th with immediate breast reconstructive surgery performed by Dr. Henderson, he did an amazing job! We met a few times before and after the surgery and his bedside manner has always been warm, friendly and very informative. I will be meeting with him in October to discuss a fat transfer and injecting my breast with fillers. Dr. Henderson was very transparent prior to my surgery that due to the removal of the breast tissue ( I had stage 0 breast cancer) the skin will be thinner and some rippling around the implant may be noticeable. He was right, I have very minimal rippling showing in one breast but I am excited to work with him again, as I know that he will get me as close to perfection as my heart desires.
